Keep Yourself Warm This Winter

Remember to keep warm and safe during the winter season. Unfortunately there have been a couple of serious events this winter, including two deaths due to the cold weather.

If you are homeless or at risk of being homeless, here are some services and facilities to help you stay warm and safe this winter:

  1. Shelter

          Call 416-339-4994 to check for shelter space

  1. Warming Centers

          Warming Centers are open 24/hrs and are free, two locations for 2014/2015:

  •           Margarets located at 323 Dundas East
  •           St. Felix located at 25 Augusta Ave
  1. Out of the Cold Program

          This is a volunteer run initiative that is funded by the city of Toronto and organized by Dixon Hall. Different faith groups offer space for shelter and refuge to those who are homeless. Call Dixon Hall for Out of the Cold Program schedule 416-699-6682.
